RIMFIRE

RIMFIRE

What We Do

RIMFIRE is a program designed to identify and track equipment failures and to subsequently verify effectiveness of corrective actions. The RIMFIRE process is a closed-loop system for identifying and tracking root failure causes, and subsequently determining which failures or conditions should be identified as candidates for corrective action. The goal is to hunt down causes of equipment failures and downtime so that corrective action can be implemented. Successful identification and correction of design errors, manufacturing defects, improper maintenance, and early wear out is key to improving equipment reliability.

What We Can Do For You

Almost all organizations that manufacture or operate large fleets of equipment employ methods to track failures and subsequently the corrective actions employed to mitigate or eliminate the failures. Best practices in failure reporting, failure analysis and corrective action procedures dictate that the failures that occur and the corrective actions taken as a result of these failures should be recorded in a systematic, organized, and searchable way. Closed loop reporting systems, such as the RIMFIRE system are instrumental in understanding how systems are actually performing in the field.

Our Team

Our Team (Team QuantiTech) consists of QuantiTech, CGI, LMI, and Dayton T. Brown (DTB). Our Team leverages its superior scientific, engineering, and technical experience to support AMCOM IMMC's role of providing responsive, thorough, and historical Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System support across AMCOM & PEO managed Aviation programs.
